Unilever sets a new world record for the number of made "high five"

The Unilever Lifebuoy brand symbol set a new record - a man dressed in a big fist suit “gave five” to the largest number of people in 3 minutes.

Unilever's Lifebuoy brand of soap brought another entry to the Guinness Book of Records in the UAE - the talisman “distributed” the maximum number of “fives” in children's hands for three minutes.

The record was set at the GEMS Winchester School in Dubai, 323 people took part in the action, among whom were both the students themselves and their parents. Participants actively clapped their hands in a mascot, bringing themselves closer to the holders of a new world record.

The event was held October 15 in conjunction with the Dubai Health Authority and was timed to coincide with International Handwashing Day. The purpose of this event was to raise children's awareness of the importance of washing their hands regularly to prevent the development of infectious diseases.

Guinness World Records official judge Leyla Issa monitored the correctness of the attempt to set the record, who carefully controlled that the talisman use only one hand for all three minutes.
