From December 31, 2017 to January 2, 2018, you can park your car in the capital of the United Arab Emirates for free.
Public parking areas will be free for motorists in Abu Dhabi on the occasion of the New Year, reports the Integrated Transport Center at the Abu Dhabi Department of Transportation.
Parking will be free from 12:01 on December 31, 2017 until 7:59 on January 2, 2018. However, authorities urged motorists not to violate parking rules.
During the New Year holidays, all buses will run in accordance with their usual schedules. Only the bus from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain will change the schedule - on the evening of December 31, it will run every 15 minutes from 13:00 to 18:00. On the first day of 2018, buses on this route will be available only from 14:00 to 18:00.
