UAE citizens will be able to enter Ukraine without a visa

Holders of passports of the United Arab Emirates will be able to stay in Ukraine without a visa for up to 30 days with each visit.

UAE citizens will be able to visit Ukraine without the need for a visa, starting December 31, 2017.

The UAE and Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding on November 2.

Ahmad Elham Al-Daheri, assistant to the deputy minister for consular affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said UAE citizens who want to visit Ukraine no longer need visas.

He added that holders of diplomatic passports can remain in the country for up to 90 days without a visa at each visit.

Al-Daheri noted that the initiative of the Ukrainian government reflects the recognized position of the UAE at the international level and emphasizes the developing relations between the two countries, and also encourages the tourism sector.
