Dubai, UAE. The world's first cosmonaut hospital, Emirates Space Hospital, will be built in the United Arab Emirates, officials from the Ministry of Health and Prevention at the Arab Arab 2018 international exhibition in Dubai said.
The hospital will focus on the implementation of the UAE Centennial 2071 program and the National Space Program. The medical institution will become an example of how telemedicine will be used in the future: it will be available not only in hospitals, but also in space.
In particular, the hospital will offer the most advanced methods of treating chronic diseases: it will be enough to introduce a nanorobot into the bloodstream, and he will find the diseased cells in the body and heal them. The project will be tested on Earth and on Mars. Among the main diseases the hospital will offer treatment for are cancer and diabetes.
