Dubai-based Emirates and Arsenal Football Club have signed a new agreement.
Arsenal Football Club has a record deal with Emirates from Dubai. Collaboration extended until 2024.
Under the terms of the agreement, the airline will remain the sponsor of the London team until the end of the 2023/24 season. Fly Emirates' advertising slogan will continue to be placed on Arsenal T-shirts.
The previous contract was calculated until the summer of 2019. Thus, the parties extended their cooperation for five seasons.
It is noted that the new sponsorship contract will be a record in terms of funding in the entire history of Arsenal. The London club has been collaborating with Emirates since 2006.
In addition to advertising on gaming and training t-shirts, Arsenal will move on the aircraft of the sponsor during the pre-season tours.
The home stadium of the team will retain the name Emirates until 2028. However, the rights to the name of the arena do not appear in the new contract with the sponsor. The fact that the stadium will be called Emirates until 2028, it became known back in 2012.
