Abu Dhabi administration launches anti-vandal control system

Abu Dhabi launched a system of urban anti-vandal control.

The Abu Dhabi administration has launched the new Rasid anti-vandal monitoring service as part of the Department of Urban Planning's Unified Portal Services.

The purpose of the service is to identify acts of vandalism that spoil the appearance of public and private facilities on city streets.

This initiative is in line with the municipality’s strategy to protect the city from any form of vandalism. This measure will also strengthen the values of social responsibility and strengthen partnerships between different sectors of society and government institutions.

Rasid is an intelligent system for monitoring acts of vandalism and hooligan behavior. The system is aimed at increasing the social responsibility of citizens and allows you to protect important municipal facilities.

The main goal of the program is to foster a culture of respect for urban facilities among all segments of the population. The system automatically monitors the situation on the streets of cities, takes pictures, notes the coordinates and makes comments, after which it sends information about the incident to the competent authorities for further consideration.
