Dubai taxi operator will offer access to unlimited and free Wi-Fi.
Careem, the operator of the taxi booking application, said that from mid-July this year, free, unlimited Wi-Fi will be available in all cars serving passengers in Dubai.
Etisalat and Snapit Digital helped deploy the high-speed Wi-Fi network in Careem taxis.
The new service ensures that the personal data of customers connected to the Careem mobile application will not be transferred to third parties, and the login will be protected.
Adib Samara, head of Careem’s business development department, said: “Careem is pleased to have signed this important agreement. It reflects our commitment to providing Careem passengers with a safe and high-speed connection when traveling.”
