Susanne Vega first picked up the guitar as early as 11 years old, and over the next year discovered a poetic gift. Since the age of 19, she has performed at various Greenwich Village clubs. During the day, Suzanne worked in the reception room of one company, and at night she sang in clubs.
In 1985, her first album, “Suzanne Vega,” appeared. Initially, the producers of the album wanted to sell at least 30 thousand copies, and sold about 750 thousand copies worldwide. So she became insanely popular and in demand and was even nominated for a Grammy Award 7 times.
