New etiquette rules appear in Dubai metro

The Dubai Roads and Transport Committee has completed the second stage of the installation of signs in the city metro, which should facilitate the movement of passengers, as well as boarding and disembarking cars. Information boards are placed directly on the platforms.

So, the signs explain the order of entry and exit of the cars, thanks to which it is possible to avoid crowding, especially during peak hours. Earlier, similar signs appeared on the windows of car doors. “Thanks to the signpost system, we are striving to streamline passenger flow,” said Ramadan Abdallah, director of the RTA Railway Agency.

It is worth noting that these etiquette rules are common in the subway of many countries. In Dubai, the installation of signs at all stations will end in April.
