MB&F "Lunar Machine". MOONMACHINE
(“The Moon Machine”) by Finnish watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva is the first artistic interpretation of the MB&F model created by the watchmaker, and the first watch “machine” with a new complex function.
To create this masterpiece, Stepan took as a basis a specially designed model of the Horological Machine No. 3 Frog (Clock Machine No. 3 "Frog") and equipped it with his signature moon phase indicator with a face image framed by shining stars of the Northern Hemisphere. Three main themes in Sarpaneva’s work are connected with the sky: his famous “moon face”, stars and constellations of the Northern Hemisphere, as well as the legendary gear housing Korona, which received its name from the corona, the plasma atmosphere of the Sun. All of the above topics are reflected in the MOONMACHINE model.
Two branded lunar faces of Sarpaneva in a Korona-shaped window serve as an indicator of the moon phase, and the “mysterious” rotor is a disk made of 916 gold steel with laser-cut stars and constellations that can be seen in the sky of the Northern Hemisphere.
The MOONMACHINE model was released in three limited series of 18 pieces each: in a titanium case with lunar faces made of white gold against a blue sky; in a black titanium case with lunar faces made of white gold against a dark blue sky, as well as in a case made of pink gold with lunar faces made of pink gold against anthracite sky.

Perfect proportions of great classics. Since the premiere of LANGE 1 watches, held in 1994, they began to be perceived as a masterpiece by A. Lange & Sohne. They instantly became world famous. New models proclaim the arrival of newly calculated proportions, for which it was necessary to carefully revise the mechanism.
A thoroughly thought out change in the arrangement of parts of the mechanism of a completely new caliber L095.1 with manual winding made it possible to preserve the elegant structure of the LANGE 1. The hour, minute and second hands, as well as a large date indicator and power reserve indicator are located on a dial made of solid silver.
The increased diameter of the mechanism made it possible to place more parts at the same level, as a result, the thickness of the mechanism was reduced to 4.7 mm. New dimensions of the mechanism affected the dimensions of the case made of platinum, yellow or pink gold: the diameter of the case increased to 40.9 mm, and the thickness is only 8.8 mm - an excellent ratio.
The transparent sapphire window on the back of the case reveals a magnificent manufactory mechanism, carefully finished by hand. Among the gracefully curved bridges, a balance is visible that operates at a frequency of 21,600 pc / h; it is installed under a manually engraved bridge. The balance spiral manufactured in Lange workshops guarantees high precision.

Chanel's J12 Matte Black men's chronograph is committed to defeating gravity. The latest version of the watch of this line is practically weightless. Its mass is reduced due to the new rubber strap. The water resistance of 200 meters combined with the original strap turned the chronograph into an excellent professional diving watch with automatic winding and a 42-hour power reserve.

The ornament divides the guilloche dial into two zones. The meandering lines of the central pattern resemble flames, with the slightest movement of the hand, animating the dial with a play of light. The second ornament is applied around the circumference of the dial and is absolutely direct sunlight, streamlining the design.
Hourly indices are made in the form of large Roman numerals located at four strategic points on the dial, and small Arabic numerals are plotted at five-minute intervals.
This model can be called a kind of "urban classic" in a case with a diameter of 43 mm made of white or pink gold 750. The mechanism of the model is made with automatic winding, the power reserve is 42 hours, the balance spiral is flat.
